South County Teachers United (SCTU)Posted: January 11, 2017
Our association will be participating in the South County Teachers United community forum focusing on protecting our students, our communities, and our profession in 2017. This forum will bring together educators from South County, social justice experts, and community organizations to begin the dialogue on:
1. What does it mean to be a teacher in these times, and what rights and responsibilities do we have as educators?
2. If our students or colleagues are targeted, how do we protect them?
3. If our community is fearful, how do we support them?
4. If our profession is under attack, how do we defend it?
