Equity & Human Rights Conference – The 2016 Equity and Human Rights Conference captures the essence in CTA’s Mission Statement: to ensure that the dignity and civil rights of all children and youth are protected, and to secure a more equitable and democratic society. The conference combined speakers and workshops to provide all CTA members with a greater understanding of the issues of diversity and equity.

Good Teaching Conference South **Priority will be given to teachers in the first 5 years of teaching** – The CTA Good Teaching Conferences are designed to support excellent teaching and learning practices for classroom teachers. Offering a variety of diverse workshops in curriculum content areas for K-12 teachers, the conferences provide opportunities for professional development and offer time to network and share ideas with colleagues and experts in the field.

If selected, you’ll be notified via your personal email. SWTA will register and pay for the conference upfront. You will need to write a brief article/reflection about your experience to receive reimbursement for travel, food and part of your hotel expenses within 30 days of attending the conference.
